Living in space
Ain’t like it was supposed to be
I miss my dog
I miss my family
I miss home
Will they even remember me
I miss the past
But I’ll be traveling back
Out here in the dark we work long hours
Building God know’s what for the super powers
When I look back on our little blue green world
And how we screwed it up and blew it up
And took it all for granted like a spoiled kid
Now we live to regret it
Living in space
It’s pretty hard to sleep
I miss my bed
I miss gravity
I’m just a bit of dust
Floating in the atmosphere
Wide awake
and full of fear
Out here in the dark we work long hours
Building God know’s what for the super powers
When I look back on our little blue green world
And how we screwed it up and blew it up
And took it all for granted like a spoiled kid
Now we live to regret it
Some nights I dream
About a cookout
Laughing friends
Kids running around
Living in space
While we build this mystery
A mighty machine
To take back history
Out here in the dark we work long hours
Building God know’s what for the super powers
When I look back on our little blue green world
And how we screwed it up and blew it up
And took it all for granted like a spoiled kid
Now we live to regret it
