Something Somewhere

I’m going off to find something
And I don’t care where and I don’t care what
There’s a wild voice that’s calling me
It’s off somewhere that I can’t see

You’re not alone
You’re not the only one
Who knows it’s there
Something somewhere
Something somewhere

You can feel it on a quiet walk
When you see the birds sail high aloft
Or in the sleepy stars at night
When the air is crisp and your soul gets light

You’re not alone
You’re not the only one
Who knows it’s there
Something somewhere
Something somewhere

I felt it in a book one time
When I thought the author read my mind
You can see it up in paintings too
When the lines and the colors take a certain hue

You’re not alone
You’re not the only one
Who knows it’s there
Something somewhere
Something somewhere

I’m going off to find something
And I don’t care where and I don’t care what
